The MAC
Located in the heart of Belfast's Cathedral Quarter, The MAC (Metropolitan Arts Centre) is one of Northern Ireland's leading cultural venues and a cornerstone of the city's contemporary arts scene.
Opened in 2012, The MAC is home to a dynamic programme of theatre, dance, visual art, comedy, music and family events, welcoming artists and audiences from across Northern Ireland and around the world. Its striking modern architecture and vibrant public spaces have made it one of Belfast's most recognisable cultural destinations.
The venue includes multiple performance spaces, contemporary art galleries, creative learning facilities and community spaces, providing opportunities for people of all ages to engage with the arts through performances, exhibitions, workshops and special events.
During Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, The MAC provides a contemporary setting where traditional culture and modern creativity can meet, offering audiences unique opportunities to experience music, storytelling, performance and artistic collaboration.
