Editorial policy
Local judgment, clearly accountable.
Lavery’s Guide publishes independent city information with a simple obligation: tell readers what is useful, explain why, and correct the record when it changes.
Independence
Editorial decisions sit with the relevant city desk. Free products, invitations, ownership interests and other material relationships must be disclosed to the assigning editor.
Accuracy
Dates, prices, access details and addresses are checked against the best available source. Time-sensitive listings show when they were last updated and are removed when no longer useful.
Corrections and removal
Substantive errors are corrected promptly. We may remove content that is unsafe, misleading, unlawful, out of date or no longer meets the Guide’s standard.
