Reflecting this year’s theme, Heritage at Risk: Revive, Resist, Reimagine, the Cathedral also tells a story of vulnerability and care. Built on wooden piles beneath the city, it now faces challenges linked to climate change, making ongoing conservation essential.

Maintained through dedicated effort and volunteer support, the Cathedral is both a place of discovery and a powerful example of how heritage can be protected for future generations.

We invite our visitors to thoroughly explore the Cathedral-there is so much more to discover!
