Clarke Stained Glass Windows at St. Malachy's College Chapel EHOD 2026

Take this special opportunity to visit the College Chapel of St Malachy’s and admire its renowned collection of stained glass windows by the Harry Clarke Studios, Dublin.

These striking works of art are celebrated for their rich colour, intricate detail and distinctive style, making the chapel a hidden gem of artistic and architectural heritage in Belfast.

Visitors will be able to view the magnificent stained-glass windows crafted by Richard King for the Harry Clarke Studios in Dublin. These 22 windows were commissioned to mark the centenary of the College in 1933 and are considered some of the finest examples of Irish stained glass of the period.

The windows were repaired during a restoration project in 2004. The late Bishop Patrick Walsh, a former President of the College, described the windows as 'a reminder to us today, and to future generations, of the religious faith and vision of previous generations.'
