Cúig Are Back

Coming together specially for this Belfast TradFest performance, Cúig reunites one of the most exciting and influential contemporary traditional bands to emerge from the North of Ireland in recent years.

Featuring the unmistakable talents of Miceál Mullen, Rónán Stewart, Ruairí Stewart, Eoin Murphy and Cathal Murphy, the band is renowned for its bold, high-energy sound and fearless approach to traditional music.

Blending driving Irish trad with bluegrass influences, contemporary rhythms and dazzling musicianship, Cúig burst onto the scene with their critically acclaimed albums New Landscapes and The Theory of Chaos, earning widespread praise and being named Best New Irish Band 2016 by Irish American News. Following tours across Ireland, Europe and the USA, their return to the Festival Club promises to be one of the standout nights of Belfast TradFest.

The celebrations continue with DJ Lachlan, keeping the floor moving deep into the night with an eclectic Festival Club set packed full of trad bangers, global grooves and late-night anthems as Belfast TradFest closes in style.
