Our Singing Seisiún is back for a special Fleadh edition! We are beyond excitement to have Landless as our guests!
Landless are: Lily Power, Méabh Meir, Ruth Clinton and Sinéad Lynch.
The Irish quartet sings centuries old ballads as well as more recently penned folk songs. Sometimes unaccompanied and at times with subtle instrumentation, their vocally rich music is dark and patient; spellbinding and gorgeous. Deeply embedded in the traditional singing communities of Dublin and Belfast, Landless have performed widely in Ireland and internationally, earning a reputation for intense, immersive live performances. They have been performing together since 2013, finding each other through the traditional singingscene in the city and, crucially, the Sacred Harp singing community. Come along to join the circle! This event is open to everyone, and we’re looking forward to an afternoon of song, community, and plenty of craic agus ceól.
