St Columba's Parish Church EHOD 2026

A warm welcome awaits you at St Columba’s, Knock - a thriving church for all ages which dates from 1896.  Located on the King’s Road in an Area of Townscape Character, St Columba’s is described by the National Churches Trust as one of the most beautiful and well-appointed buildings in the Church of Ireland estate. A late Gothic style church, its exterior and interior design has been inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement and features a very fine pipe organ installed in 1902 as well as spectacular and eye-catching stained-glass windows.   Sympathetically and lovingly extended, refurbished, renovated and protected by its Rectors and congregations in both the 20th and 21st centuries, St Columba’s is a community hub for outstanding music, camaraderie, faith and fellowship. It’s a bustling and buzzing church with members crossing the generations from age two to 102. Visitors will be greeted by a member of the congregation and can avail of self-guided ‘take home with you’ pamphlets detailing the church’s history and architecture as well as its magnificent stained-glass windows.  We will also offer our visitors a little sweet surprise.
